Chocolate Chip Cinnamon Raisin Cookies

Soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies filled with tons of cinnamon flavor and raisins. The flavor the chocolate chips and raisins go together perfectly in these cookies. They make the perfect easy dessert to bake for just about any holiday or occasion. Everyone will love the soft and chewy texture and delicious chocolate and raisin flavors.

The cookie dough is made similar to a classic chocolate chip cookie dough, except for the addition of ground cinnamon, and raisins mixed into the cookie dough. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place the cookies onto a large ungresaed baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.

Chocolate Chip Cinnamon Raisin Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, baking soda, and ground cinnamon. In a large bowl, combine butter with both granulated and brown sugars until fluffy. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
  • Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the raisins and chocolate chips. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
