Chocolate Cake Mix Butterscotch Crinkle Cookies

Soft and chewy chocolate cookies made with a box of chocolate cake mix, and filled with butterscotch baking chips. The cookies are also rolled in a dish of powdered sugar before baking, making them more soft and chewy. Everyone will love these easy cookies for any holiday or occasion.

The only five ingredients that you need is a box of chocolate cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, butterscotch baking chips, and powdered sugar. The cake mix is mixed with eggs, vegetable oil, and butterscotch baking chips until combined. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and roll into a dish of powdered sugar. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ( 15 oz.) box chocolate cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup butterscotch baking chips
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil until smooth. Fold in the butterscotch baking chips.
  • In a shallow dish, place the powdered sugar. Roll the cookie dough into balls, then roll each one into the powdered sugar. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
