The brownie batter is simple to make with all of the ingredients whisked together in the same bowl. You can even use a box of premade brownie mix and add the crushed candy canes to it, if you would rather. Fold the candy canes into the brownie batter, and use a cookie scoop to place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet and bake until they are done in the center. Let the cookies cool completely on a cooling rack before serving.

Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1/2 cup crushed candy canes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda. Add in melted butter, eggs, and peppermint extract. Whisk until smooth.
