Cake Mix Peanut Butter Spider Cookies

Soft and chewy peanut butter cookies made with a box of cake mix, and decorated with mini Reese’s peanut butter cups, candy eyes, and icing to make them look like spiders. Everyone will love these easy and delicious peanut butter cookies with a fun Halloween twist this year.

The cookie dough is made by mixing a box of cake mix with peanut butter, eggs and vegetable oil until smooth. Place cookie dough onto a baking sheet and bake until the cookies are fully cooked through. Remove from the oven and place one peanut butter cup on each cookie, decorate with candy eyes and icing.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ( 15 oz.) box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • mini peanut butter cups
  • candy eyes
  • icing

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix cake mix with eggs, peanut butter, and vegetable oil until smooth. Use a cookie scoop to place cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and top with peanut butter cups. Decorate with icing and candy eyes.
