Soft and chewy peanut butter cookies filled with chocolate chips.  All you need is five simple ingredients to make these easy cookie bars. They are started from a box of cake mix. These easy cookie bars are filled with tons of delicious chocolate and peanut butter flavors that everyone will love for any occasion.

The only five ingredients that you need for these cookie bars is a box of yellow cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, peanut butter, and chocolate chips. All five ingredients are mixed together in a large bowl until smooth. Evenly press the cookie dough into a greased square baking dish. Bake until the center of the cookie bars comes out clean with a toothpick. Let cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.

  • 1 ( 15 oz.) box yellow cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and peanut butter until smooth. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Evenly press the cookie dough into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
