The cookie dough is made by mixing a box of cake mix with eggs and vegetable oil until combined. Divide the cookie dough between three bowls, and mix one with purple food coloring, one with green and one with yellow. Take a small amount of each cookie dough from each dough and roll together into balls. Roll each one into a dish of granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Place onto a large baking sheet and bake until it is fully cooked through.
Cake Mix Mardi Gra Snickerdoodle Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 ( 15 oz.) box white cake mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- purple, green and yellow food coloring
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, eggs and vegetable oil until smooth. Divide the cookie dough between three bowls, and mix one with purple food coloring, one with green and one with yellow.
- In a shallow dish, combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Take a small amount of each cookie dough and roll into balls. Roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
