Cake Mix Halloween Sugar Cookies

Soft and chewy sugar cookies made with a box of cake mix and made purple, orange and green using food coloring. These easy chewy cookies make the perfect fun dessert to bake this fall or Halloween season. All you need is a large mixing bowl and few ingredients to make them.

The cookie dough is made by mixing a box of white cake mix with eggs and vegetable oil until smooth. Divide the dough into three bowls, and mix one with orange food coloring, one with green food coloring, and one with the purple food coloring. Take a small amount of each cookie dough and roll into balls. Place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart and bake until they are fully cooked through.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ( 15 oz.) box white cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • purple, orange, and green food coloring

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil until smooth. Divide the cookie dough into three bowls. Mix one with purple food coloring, one with orange food coloring, and one with green food coloring.
  • Take a small amount of each cookie dough and roll together into balls. Place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
