The cookie dough is made by mixing a box of cake mix with eggs and vegetable oil until smooth. Fourth of July themed sprinkles are then folded into the cookie dough. Roll the cookie dough into balls and roll each one into a mixture of granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.
Cake Mix Fourth of July Snickerdoodle Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 ( 15 oz.) box yellow cake mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup Fourth of July sprinkles
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix together cake mix with eggs and vegetable oil until smooth. Fold in the sprinkles.
- In a shallow dish, combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and roll each one into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
