Cake Mix Fourth of July Crinkle Cookies

Soft and chewy cookies for the Fourth of July made using a box of cake mix and filled with fun Fourth of July themed sprinkles. The cookie dough is also rolled into a dish of powdered sugar, making the cookies even more soft and chewy. Everyone will love these easy cookies this summer.

The only five ingredients that you need for these cookies is a box of yellow cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, Fourth of July sprinkles, and powdered sugar. All of the ingredients, except for the powdered sugar are mixed together until combined. Roll the cookie dough into balls, then roll into a dish of powdered sugar. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.

Cake Mix Fourth of July Crinkle Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ( 15 oz.) box yellow cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup Fourth of July sprinkles
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix together cake mix with eggs and vegetable oil until smooth. Fold in the sprinkles.
  • Place the powdered sugar into a shallow dish. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and roll each one into the powdered sugar. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
