Cake Mix Easter M&M Snickerdoodle Cookies

Soft and chewy snickerdoodle cookies filled with Easter themed sprinkles and Easter themed M&Ms. This easy cookie dough is started from a box of cake mix. It makes the perfect easy treat to bake this Easter or spring. Everyone will love the soft and chewy texture of the cookies, and delicious snickerdoodle flavors.

The cookie dough is made by mixing a box of cake mix with eggs and vegetable oil until smooth. Easter themed sprinkles and M&Ms are then folded into the cookie dough. Roll the cookie dough into balls, then roll each one into a mixture of granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ( 15 oz.) box yellow cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup Easter sprinkles
  • 1 cup Easter M&Ms
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil until smooth. Fold in the sprinkles and M&Ms. In a shallow dish, combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
  • Roll the cookie dough into balls, and roll each one into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
