Cake Mix Earth Day Cookies

Soft and chewy cookies made with a box of cake mix and with half of the cookie dough made blue and the other half green for Earth day. Everyone will love making these easy fun cookies for a last minute Earth day themed treat.

The cookie dough is made by mixing a box of cake mix with eggs and vegetable oil until smooth. Divide the cookie dough into two bowls and mix one with green food coloring and one with blue food coloring. Take a small amount of each cookie dough and roll together into balls. Place onto a large ungreased baking sheet and bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ( 15 oz.) box yellow cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • green and blue food coloring

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil until smooth. Divide the cookie dough into two bowls and mix one with green food coloring and one with blue food coloring.
  • Take a small amount of cookie dough from each bowl and roll together into balls. Place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
