Butterscotch M&M Cookies

Soft and chewy cookies filled with M&Ms and butterscotch baking chips. Everyone will love the soft and chewy texture of the cookies and the delicious butterscotch and chocolate flavors. They are perfect to bake for just about any holiday or occasion.

The cookie dough is made like a classic M&M cookie dough, except for the addition of butterscotch baking chips. Use a cookie scoop to place cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.

Butterscotch M&M Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup butterscotch baking chips
  • 1 cup M&Ms

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt and baking soda. In a large bowl, mix together butter and both sugars until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
  • Add in the flour mixture and mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the butterscotch chips and M&Ms. Use a cookie scoop to place cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
