Only four ingredients are needed to make these carrots and are ready in less than 15 minutes. Just baby carrots, water, butter and brown sugar. They are made on the stove top, meaning more room for the other dishes in the oven. I used baby carrots for this recipe, but if you would rather you can use whole carrots instead. If you are using whole carrots, you may need to adjust the time, until they are fork tender. Bring the water, butter and brown sugar to a boil in a saucepan. Add in the carrots and let the cook until they are fork tender.
Brown Sugar Glazed Carrots
Ingredients
- 1 pound baby carrots
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
Instructions
- Mix water, butter and brown sugar together in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil.
- Add in carrots and let cook over medium heat for 6-7 minutes. Until carrots are fork tender.
