The blueberry syrup is easy to prepare, with just fresh blueberries, granulated sugar, and one cup of water. They are cooked together over medium heat, until the blueberries burst. Strain the blueberries into a medium bowl and let cool completely. In a large pitcher, mix together water with lemon juice and the cooled blueberry syrup. Store in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve.

Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh blueberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup lemon juice
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, cook blueberries, sugar, and 1 cup water until blueberries start to burst. Strain mixture into a bowl.
