Banana Walnut Bread

Soft and fluffy homemade banana bread filled with tons of banana flavor, and walnuts. The walnuts add a delicious nutty flavor to the banana bread that goes perfectly with the banana flavor. This bread is the perfect dessert for just about any occasion, or even as a breakfast.

This banana bread is so quick and easy to make, all you need is a large mixing bowl and whisk. Mix all of the ingredients into a large mixing bowl until it is smooth. Fold the walnuts into the banana bread mixture, and pour it into a greased loaf pan. Bake until the bread comes out clean with a toothpick. Let cool completely before serving.

Banana Walnut Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large bananas, mashed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup walnuts

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mash bananas. Add in eggs, milk, and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
  2. Add in the flour, sugar, salt, and baking soda. Mix until it is smooth. Fold in walnuts. Pour the mixture into a greased 9-inch loaf pan. Bake for 55-60 minutes.
