You can use either fresh or frozen green beans for this appetizer. Trim the ends off of each green bean, place about 5-6 green beans on a slice of bacon. Wrap up the green beans in the bacon tightly, and set them onto a large greased baking sheet. Top the bundles with brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Bake until the green beans are tender and the bacon is crispy.
Bacon Wrapped Green Beans
Ingredients
- 1 pound green beans, trimmed
- 12 slices bacon
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 F. Wrap 5-6 green beans in each slice of bacon.
- Place onto a large greased baking sheet. Sprinkle with brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
