Air-Fryer Mozzarella Bites

Sharing is caring!

Quick and easy crispy mozzarella bites made from string cheese. These tasty little bites are delicious and so quick and easy to make at home. They are crispy and cheesy, without any frying. These bites are air-fried, making them a much more healthier alternative to fried mozzarella. These make the perfect appetizer for any occasion, served with marinara sauce, ranch dressing or your favorite dipping sauce.

String cheese is used to make these, first cut them into bite-sized pieces. In a shallow dish, whisk the egg and milk together. Place flour into another dish. Combine breadcrumbs and seasoning in another dish. To bread these bites, dip each mozzarella bite into the egg first, then roll in the flour, dip them back into the egg, and fully coat in the breadcrumbs. Freeze the mozzarella for at least one hour before cooking. It will help keep the cheese from spilling out. Air-fry the breaded mozzarella bites in batches until crispy.
