Fresh broccoli with garlic and seasonings oven roasted until crispy. This delicious side dish is so simple and easy to make with very few ingredients. The whole side dish is ready in 30 minutes. This broccoli goes with just about any main dish, I like to serve broccoli when ever I make chicken for dinner. But it also tastes great with a bowl rice for lunch. It is quick and easy, and it is vegan and gluten-free making it perfect for any diet.

The broccoli first needs to be chopped into florets, then placed into a large bowl. I used fresh broccoli for this, but you can use a bag of frozen broccoli instead. Although if you use frozen broccoli instead, you may need to adjust the cooking time until the broccoli is tender and lightly browned. Drizzle olive oil over the broccoli and season it with minced garlic, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Spread the broccoli out into a large baking dish and roast it in the oven until the broccoli is crispy and lightly browned. There is no need to stir the broccoli during cooking, they will evenly cook.
