Soft and chewy classic mint chocolate chip cookies rolled in powdered sugar, making them more soft and chewy, and gives them a classic crinkle look. Everyone will love these easy soft and chewy cookies with delicious mint and chocolate chip flavors.

The cookie dough is made just like a classic mint chocolate chip cookie dough, then it is rolled into balls and rolled into a dish of powdered sugar. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.

Mint Chocolate Chip Crinkle Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon mint extract
  • green food coloring
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, mix together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add in egg and mint extract and mix until smooth.
  • Add in the flour mixture and mix until it is fully combined. Add in the food coloring and fold in the chocolate chips. Place powdered sugar into a shallow dish, and roll cookie dough into balls. Roll each one into the powdered sugar.
  • Place cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
