The cookie dough is made like a classic shortbread cookie dough, except for the addition of green food coloring. Roll the cookie dough into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the bottoms are lightly browned. Roll each one in powdered sugar.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- green food coloring
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix together butter and powdered sugar until fluffy. Add in vanilla extract and mix until smooth. Add in the flour mixture and mix until a thick dough forms. Add in the green food coloring.
- Roll the cookie dough into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Place powdered sugar into a shallow dish, and roll each one in the sugar.
