Valentine’s Day Pudding Cookies

Soft and chewy sugar cookies made with a box of vanilla pudding mix. The cookies are made pink with food coloring to make them a fun and delicious treat for Valentine’s day this year. Everyone will love these easy and delicious sugar cookies.

The cookie dough is made similar to a classic sugar cookie dough, except for the addition of dry vanilla pudding mix. Add pink food coloring to the cookie dough and roll into balls. Place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart and bake until fully cooked through.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ( 3 oz.) box vanilla pudding mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pink food coloring

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, pudding mix, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, mix together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
  • Add in the flour mixture and mix until it is fully combined. Add in the food coloring. Roll the cookie dough into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
