The cookie dough is made like a classic snowball cookie dough, except for the addition of pink food coloring. Roll the cookie dough into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet. Bake until the bottoms are lightly browned. Remove from the oven and roll each cookie in a dish of powdered sugar.
Valentine's Day Snowball Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- pink food coloring
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix together butter and powdered sugar until fluffy. Add in flour and vanilla extract and mix until combined. Add in the food coloring.
- Roll the cookie dough into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Place powdered sugar into a shallow dish. Remove cookies from oven and roll each one in the powdered sugar.
