The cookie dough is made like a classic oatmeal cookie dough, then green food coloring is mixed into the cookie dough. Use a cookie scoop to place cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at bake until they are fully cooked through. Remove from the oven and top each one with a heart shaped sprinkle.
Grinch Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups quick oats
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- green food coloring
- heart sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, oats, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, mix together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
- Add in the flour mixture and mix until it is fully combined. Add in the food coloring and mix until it is fully green. Use a cookie scoop to place cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Remove from oven and top each one with a heart sprinkle.
