The cookie dough is made like a classic sugar cookie dough, except instead of vanilla extract, peppermint extract is used instead. The cookie dough is divided into two bowls, and one is mixed with red food coloring. Take a small amount of each cookie dough and roll together into balls. Place cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.
