Halloween Kitkat Cookies

Soft and chewy sugar cookies filled with chopped up green Halloween themed kitkat candy bars. Everyone will love the soft and chewy texture of the cookies and the delicious crispy flavor and texture of the kitkats in the cookies. They make the perfect cookie to bake this year.

The cookie dough is made like a classic sugar cookie dough, except for the addition of chopped up Halloween themed kitkat candy bars mixed into the cookie dough. Use a cookie scoop to place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.

Halloween Kitkat Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped Halloween kitkat candy bars

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, mix together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth. Add in the flour mixture, and mix until it is fully combined.
  • Fold in the candy bars. Use a cookie scoop to place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
