Cake Mix Christmas Sugar Cookies

Soft and chewy sugar cookies with a fun Christmas themed twist. Half of the cookie dough is made red and the other half green for Christmas. Everyone will love the soft and chewy texture of the sugar cookies and the fun Christmas colors in the cookies.

The cookie dough is made by mixing a box of cake mix with eggs and vegetable oil until smooth. Divide the cookie dough between two bowls and mix one with red food coloring and one with green. Take a small amount of each cookie dough and roll together into balls. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet and bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ( 15 oz.) box white cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • red and green food coloring

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, eggs and vegetable oil until smooth. Divide the cookie dough into two bowls, and mix one with red food coloring and one with green.
  • Take a small amount of each cookie dough and roll together into balls. Place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
