Peanut Butter Witch Hat Cookies

Soft and chewy classic peanut butter cookies topped with icing and a chocolate kiss. They are made to look like witch hats, making them perfect to bake this fall or Halloween season. Everyone will love the classic peanut butter flavors along with the chocolate kiss.

The cookie dough is made just like a classic peanut butter cookie dough, roll into balls and place onto a baking sheet. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through. Remove from the oven and top with icing and a chocolate kiss.

Peanut Butter Witch Hat Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • red icing
  • chocolate kisses

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, mix together butter, peanut butter, and both sugars until fluffy.
  • Add in the egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth. Add in the flour mixture, and mix until it is fully combined. Roll the dough into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and top with icing and a chocolate kiss.
