Peanut Butter Banana Pudding Chocolate Chip Heart Blossom Cookies

Soft and chewy peanut butter cookies made with a box of banana pudding mix and filled with chocolate chips. Each cookie is also stuffed with a heart shaped chocolate. Everyone will love these easy and delicious peanut butter cookies this Valentine’s day.

The cookie dough is made similar to a classic peanut butter cookie dough, except for the addition of banana pudding mix and chocolate chips mixed into the cookie dough. Roll the dough into balls and place onto a baking sheet. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through. Remove from the oven, and top each one with a chocolate heart.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ( 3 oz.) box banana pudding mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • chocolate hearts

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk flour with pudding mix, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, mix butter with peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  2. Add in the egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth. Add in the flour mixture, and mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  3. Roll the cookie dough into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from the oven, and place one chocolate heart on each cookie.
