Red, White and Blue Peanut Butter M&M Cookies

Soft and chewy classic peanut butter cookies filled with red and blue M&Ms, white chocolate chips and Fourth of July themed sprinkles. Everyone will love these easy and delicious red, white and blue peanut butter M&M cookies for a fun treat this summer.

The cookie dough is made like a classic peanut butter cookie dough, except for the addition of red and blue M&Ms, white chocolate chips, and Fourth of July themed sprinkles. Roll the cookie dough into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.

Red, White and Blue Peanut Butter M&M Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup red and blue M&Ms
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup Fourth of July sprinkles

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk flour, salt, and baking soda together. In a large bowl, mix butter with peanut butter and both sugars until fluffy. Add in the egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
  2. Add in the flour mixture, and mix until fully combined. Fold in the M&Ms, white chocolate chips, and sprinkles. Roll the cookie dough into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
