The cookie dough is made by mixing a box of pineapple cake mix with eggs and vegetable oil until smooth. Roll the cookie dough into balls and roll the balls into red, white and blue sanding sugars. Place the cookies onto a baking sheet and bake until they are fully cooked through.

Ingredients
- 1 ( 15 oz.) box pineapple cake mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- red, white and blue sanding sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix cake mix with eggs and vegetable oil until smooth. Place each sanding sugar into a shallow dish.
- Roll the cookie dough into balls and roll each one into the sanding sugars. Place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
