Reese’s Pieces Monster Cookie Bars

Soft and chewy peanut butter oatmeal cookie bars filled with chocolate chips and Reese’s pieces candies. They are made like classic monster cookies, except with Reese’s pieces instead of M&Ms. Everyone will love these easy chewy peanut butter cookie bars for any occasion.

The cookie dough is made similar to a classic monster cookie dough, except for the addition of Reese’s pieces instead of M&Ms. Press the cookie dough into a greased square baking dish and bake until the center comes out clean with a toothpick. Let cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.

Reese's Pieces Monster Cookie Bars

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups quick oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Reese's pieces
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, oats, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, mix butter with peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  • Add in the egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth. Fold in the Reese's pieces and chocolate chips. Press the cookie dough evenly into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
