The cookie dough is made by mixing a box of spice cake mix with eggs, vegetable oil and molasses. Then chocolate chips are folded into the cookie dough. The cookie dough is rolled into balls and rolled in a dish of powdered sugar. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.
Cake Mix Gingerbread Chocolate Chip Crinkle Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 ( 15 oz.) box spice cake mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and molasses until smooth. Fold in the chocolate chips. Place the powdered sugar into a shallow dish.
- Roll the cookie dough into balls and roll in the powdered sugar. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
