The brownie batter is made similar to a classic brownie batter, except for the addition of Christmas themed M&Ms mixed into the batter. Spread the batter into a greased square baking dish. Bake until the center of the brownies comes out clean with a toothpick. Let cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.
Christmas M&M Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup Christmas M&Ms
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda. Add in the eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
- Fold in the M&Ms. Spread the brownie batter into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
