Mint Snowball Cookies

Easy classic snowball cookies filled with tons of delicious mint flavors by using mint extract instead of vanilla. Everyone will love the delicious buttery flavors and mint flavors in these easy cookies. They are perfect to bake this winter or St. Patrick’s day.

The cookie dough is made similar to a classic snowball cookie, except for the addition of mint extract and green food coloring. After the cookies have baked, roll each one into a small dish of powdered sugar, and let cool completely before serving.

Mint Snowball Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon mint extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • green food coloring
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix together butter with sugar until smooth. Add in the mint extract. Add in the flour, mix until it is fully combined.
  • Add in food coloring until it is fully green. Roll the cookie dough into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  • Place powdered sugar into a shallow dish. Roll the cookies into the sugar.
