Cocoa Pebbles Snowball Cookies

Easy snowball cookies filled with chocolate cocoa pebbles cereal. The cookies are rolled in a dish of powdered sugar to give them a classic snowball look. These easy snowball cookies make a delicious and easy treat that everyone will love for just about any holiday or occasion.

The cookie dough is made similar to a classic shortbread cookie dough, except for the addition of cocoa pebbles cereal folded into the cookie dough. Roll the dough into balls, and place them onto a large ungreased baking sheet. Bake until the bottoms of the cookies are lightly browned. Roll the cookies into a dish of powdered sugar.

Cocoa Pebbles Snowball Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa pebbles cereal
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix butter and sugar together until fluffy. Add in the vanilla extract, and mix until smooth. Add in the flour, mix until it is fully combined.
  • Fold in the cocoa pebbles cereal. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Place the powdered sugar into a shallow dish. Roll each cookie into the powdered sugar.
