Peanut Butter Pretzel Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

Soft and chewy cookie bars filled with tons of delicious peanut butter flavors, chocolate chips, and crushed pretzels. These easy cookie bars have a delicious sweet and salty flavor that everyone will love. The sweet chocolate chip flavor goes perfectly with the salty and crunch pretzels.

The cookie dough is made similar to a classic peanut butter cookie dough, except with the addition of chocolate chips and crushed pretzels folded into the cookie dough. Evenly press the cookie dough into a greased square baking dish. Bake until the center of the cookie bars comes out clean with a toothpick. Let cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.

Peanut Butter Pretzel Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with peanut butter and sugar until fluffy. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
  • Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the crushed pretzels and chocolate chips. Evenly press the cookie dough into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
