Chewy and soft blondies filled with juicy cherry pie filling. These easy blondie bars are perfect to bake for a sweet and delicious treat for just about any holiday or occasion. Everyone will love the soft texture of the cookie bars and delicious juicy cherries.

The batter for the blondies is made by whisking all of the ingredients together in a large bowl until smooth. Spread the batter into a greased square baking dish. Bake until the center comes out clean with a toothpick. Let cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.

Cherry Blondies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix together melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Add in the flour, salt, and baking powder, and mix until smooth. Fold in the cherry pie filling. Spread the mixture into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
