The cookie dough is made like a classic chocolate chip cookie dough, then a mini Reese’s peanut butter cup is place on each piece of cookie dough. Roll the cookie dough into balls, covering the chocolate completely. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.

• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 large egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 cup chocolate chips
• mini Reese's peanut butter cups

Method

 

1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with both granulated sugar and brown sugar until fluffy.
2. Add in egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth. Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the chocolate chips. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place one mini Reese's peanut butter cup on each piece of cookie dough.
3. Roll the dough into a ball, covering the chocolate completely. Place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
