The cookie dough is quick and easy to make, because it is started from a box of cake mix. They make the perfect treat to bake for any occasion.

The cookie dough is made by mixing a box of yellow cake mix with eggs, vegetable oil, and peanut butter until smooth. Fold chocolate chips into the cookie dough. Roll the cookie dough into balls, then roll each one into a mixture of granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.

  • 1 ( 15 oz.) box yellow cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and peanut butter until smooth. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • In a shallow dish, combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Roll the cookie dough into balls, then roll each one into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
