The brownie batter is made by mixing all of the ingredients together in a large bowl until smooth. Divide the brownie batter between a paper lined muffin pan. For the cookie dough, all five ingredients are mixed together in a large bowl until smooth. Divide the cookie dough over the brownie batter. Bake until the center of each brookie cup comes out clean with a toothpick.
Cake Mix Peanut Butter Brookie Cups
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ( 15 oz.) box yellow cake mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line a 12 cup muffin pan with paper liners. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda. Add in the eggs, melted butter and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In another large bowl, mix together cake mix with eggs, vegetable oil and peanut butter until smooth. Evenly divide the brownie batter between the prepared muffin pan. Top with the cookie dough. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
