The oatmeal cookie dough is made like a classic oatmeal cookie dough, roll it into balls, and place them onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through. Once they are out of the oven, place one heart shaped chocolate on each cookie. Let them cool completely on a cooling rack before serving.
Oatmeal Heart Blossom Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups quick oats
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, oats, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with both sugars until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
- Add in the flour mixture, and mix until it is fully combined. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place them onto a large ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, and place one heart shaped chocolate on each cookie.
