Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Fluffy homemade classic chocolate chip pancakes. Pancakes are a favorite for weekend breakfasts or brunch, or anytime of the week. These easy homemade pancakes are fluffy and delicious filled with chocolate chips. You can easily make these pancakes ahead of time and store them in the freezer until serving, so you can have fresh homemade pancakes any day of the week.

The pancake batter is quick and easy to make, all of the ingredients are whisked together in a large bowl until smooth. Cook the pancake batter on a lightly greased skillet or griddle, and cook until bubbles start to form around the edges. Flip and cook until the other side is lightly browned.

Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Add in eggs, melted butter, and milk. Whisk until smooth.
  • Fold in chocolate chips. Ladle about ¼ cup batter onto a hot greased skillet over medium-low heat. Cook until bubbles start to form around the edges. Flip and cook until the other side is lightly browned.
