Soft and chewy peanut butter cookie cups, topped with heart shaped chocolate. The chocolate and peanut butter flavors go perfectly in these cookie cups. They are like classic peanut butter blossom cookies, but with a fun Valentine’s day twist to them. These easy cookie cups make the perfect simple Valentine’s day treat that everyone will love.

The cookie dough is made just like a classic peanut butter cookie dough, it is divided into a prepared paper lined muffin pan and baked until the center of each cookie cup comes out clean in the center. Once they are out of the oven, place one heart shaped chocolate on each cookie cup.

Peanut Butter Heart Blossom Cookie Cups

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • heart shaped chocolate

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line a 12 cup muffin pan with paper liners. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with peanut butter, and both sugars until fluffy.
  • Add in the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until it is smooth. Add in the flour mixture, and mix until it is fully combined. Evenly divide the cookie dough between the prepared muffin cups.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes. Remove from the oven, and place one heart chocolate on each cookie cup.
