M&M Snickerdoodle Cookies

Soft and chewy classic M&M cookies rolled into a mixture of granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Classic snickerdoodle cookies is combined with a chewy M&M cookie to make these delicious chewy M&M snickerdoodle cookies. It has all of the classic cinnamon and sugar snickerdoodle flavor and the chocolate M&Ms throughout the cookies. Everyone will love these cookies for just about every holiday or occasion.

The cookie dough is made like a classic M&M cookie dough. But it is rolled in a mixture of granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet and bake until they are fully cooked through. Let the cookies cool completely on a cooling rack before serving.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup M&Ms
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with both granulated and brown sugar until fluffy.
  • Add in egg and vanilla extract, and mix until it is smooth. Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the m&ms. In a shallow dish, combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
  • Roll the cookie dough into balls and roll into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
