Soft and chewy cookie cups made green for the Grinch, and topped off with a chocolate kiss. These sweet and chewy cookie cups is made with a classic sugar cookie that is colored green with food coloring, and baked into muffin cups. Each cookie cup has chocolate kiss on top, these cookie cups make the perfect Christmas themed dessert that everyone will enjoy.

The cookie dough for these cups is made with a classic sugar cookie dough, that is made green with green food coloring. The cookie dough is divided between a lined muffin tin and baked until each cup comes out with a clean toothpick. Remove the cups from the oven, and place one chocolate kiss on each cookie cup. Let cool completely on a cooling rack before serving.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • green food coloring
  • chocolate kisses

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line a 12 cup muffin pan with paper liners. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with sugar until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
  • Add in the flour mixture, and mix until it is fully combined. Add in the green food coloring, and mix until it is fully green. Evenly divide the cookie dough between the prepared paper liners. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Remove from the oven and place one chocolate kiss on each cookie cup.
