Homemade Take Five Bars

Sharing is caring!

Take five bars are a classic chocolate bar with a peanut butter and caramel filling covered in chocolate. It is really simple to make the classic candy bars at home with simple ingredients. Pretzels are sandwiched with chocolate caramel Rolos, peanut butter, and chopped nuts. All covered in melted chocolate. They are sweet and delicious, perfect for when you want to enjoy a classic candy bar.

The only ingredients that you need to make these candy bar bites are pretzels, Rolos, peanut butter,  chopped nuts, and chocolate chips. Half of the pretzels are placed out in a single layer onto a large baking sheet. Top each one with a unwrapped Rolo candy. Bake for just a couple of minutes, until the chocolate has just started to melt, but not fully melted. To the other half of pretzels, spread a small amount of peanut butter and sprinkle chopped nuts over the peanut butter. Sandwich the peanut butter pretzels with the Rolo pretzels, peanut butter side down. Freeze the candy until it is frozen.

Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until it is fully melted and smooth. Use a fork to fully coat each pretzel bite into the melted chocolate, covering it fully in chocolate. Set the bites back onto plates, and freeze until the chocolate has completely set.
