I love using the crock-pot for everything, including for cooking steaks. You don’t need to precook the steaks, just dump all of the ingredients into a crock-pot and let it cook slow all day. The steak ends up being tender and juicy with tons of flavor. This steak is so quick and easy to prepare, you can even make it as a weeknight meal since there is very little prep involved. They taste great for a cold weather comfort food meal served with mashed potatoes and your favorite vegetables.

Only four ingredients are needed to make this steak. I used top round steaks for this, but cube steak will also work well. Place the steak into the bottom of a lightly greased crock-pot and sprinkle it with the onion soup mix. Pour the beef broth and cream of chicken soup over the steak and cover the crock-pot. Let it cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or on high heat for 3-4 hours. Depending on your crock-pot, until it is tender.
